Born and raised in Mexico, Maricarmen started her career in Industrial Design with well-known manufacturing companies in Mexico and Australia, she is comfortable working across multiple projects implementing her strategic skills in every stage of the design process.

Influenced by her father, who was a Professor of Business Strategy for over 30 years, Maricarmen always had an interest in Strategy. She continued her studies with the Master of Design Strategy and Innovation from Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia.

Maricarmen believes strategy can be applied in different areas of design, giving us a wider perspective to tackle problems and think ahead. She believes experience design is what sets companies apart.
